In September 2017, the above industrial added value increased by 6.6% over the same period (the growth rate of the following added value was all deducted from the real growth rate of the price factor), which was 0.6 percentage points faster than in August. On a month-on-month basis, industrial production rose 0.56 per cent in September from the previous month. In the january-september period, industrial output increased by 6.7% year on year.

      In September, the added value of the mining industry fell 3.8 percent year on year, while manufacturing grew 8.1 percent, while electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply grew 7.8 percent.

In September, the added value of state-owned enterprises increased by 9.0% year-on-year. Collective enterprises fell 2.6 percent, the shareholding enterprises increased by 7.1 percent, and foreign and Hong Kong and Macao taiwan-invested enterprises increased 8.9 percent.

      In September, 34 industries in 41 categories maintained year-on-year growth. 6.2% among them, the agricultural food processing industry, textile     industry increased by 4.1%, chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing growth 4.2%, non-metallic mineral products increased by 2.7%, a 1.4% drop in black metal smelting and rolling processing industry, non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry fell by 0.9%, general equipment manufacturing growth 10.6%, special equipment manufacturing growth 11.3%, automobile manufacturing growth 13.7%, railway, shipbuilding, aerospace and other transportation equipment manufacturing industry grows 7.2%, electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing growth 12.3%, computers, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing growth 16.3%, electricity, heat production and supply industry growth rate of 7.3%.

      In September, the added value of the eastern region increased by 7.8 percent year on year, 7.6 percent in the central region, 5.9 percent in the west and 5.2 percent in the northeast.
